The Workforce Development Committee purpose is to improve public awareness of careers in the load handling industry and help share the skills and qualifications needed. To accomplish this the Committee will:

• Evaluate current workforce development programs and activities to make recommendations to the Board, as needed;
• Recommend new workforce development activities and initiatives to the Board;
• Assist in the development, review, and evaluation of workforce development programs;
• Assist in the dissemination of workforce development information and resources;
• Assist in the development and oversight of scholarship programs and make recommendations to the Board;
• Other responsibilities as approved by the Board.
